Terms & Conditions

1. General 

These Terms & Conditions apply to all Pilates classes, private sessions, and workshops provided by Louise Brown – trading as “Pilates with Louise" – to clients. By booking a session, the Client agrees to these Terms. 


2. Booking & Payment – Group Classes 

  • All classes must be booked in advance via the Team-Up booking system.
  • Payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Prices are listed on Team Up and may be subject to change with reasonable notice. 

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Private sessions: At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations will be charged in full.

  • Group classes: The cancellation notice period of a group class differs depending on the membership / package purchased. 
    Please read these conditions carefully when purchasing.

  • Class credits: If you cancel a class within the notice period of your membership / package, you will be issued with a class credit. This credit will then need to be used within your membership expiry timeframe. E.g., rolling monthly memberships, credits can be used at any time. For the Seasonal Series termly blocks, any class credits will need to be used up by the end of that half-term block. Class credits are non-refundable.

  • Missed sessions are non-transferable and non-refundable. • If the instructor cancels a session, clients will be offered a rescheduled class or full refund. 

4. Health & Safety 

  • Clients must complete a health form before participating.

  • It is the Client’s responsibility to inform the Instructor of any injuries, medical conditions, or changes in health. Louise Brown - trading as 'Pilates with Louise' hello@pilateswithlouise.uk / 07876 773775
  • The instructor is not a medical professional and cannot diagnose or treat injuries. Participation is at the Client’s own risk.

  • Clients must always work within their own limits.

6. Extreme Heat

  • During periods of extreme heat (28 degrees and above), class intensity, duration and activities may be modified to reduce the risk of heat-related illness.

  • Where temperatures or venue conditions are considered unsafe, or where class attendance is low (4 or under), the class schedule may be reduced, consolidated or cancelled at the instructor's discretion.

  • Where changes to the schedule mean a client is unable to attend an alternative class, any class credits will be refunded.

  • Clients should stay hydrated, wear suitable clothing, exercise at a comfortable pace, and stop immediately if they feel unwell.


7. Class Etiquette 

  • Please arrive on time. The space is available to enter 10 minutes before the start of each class. 

  • Mobile phones should be on silent.

  • Place clothes, trainers, bags, etc. away from the main class space to avoid accidents/injury or damage to personal equipment. 

  • Respect the instructor and other participants. 

8. Data Protection,

  • Personal information will be kept confidential and used only for class administration and communication in line with GDPR.
